Reuben Lim
A former national-level swimmer from Waikato, Reuben holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Science and a Silver-Level Coaching accreditation. Reuben has been the Head Coach at Triton since its establishment in 2022, focusing on developing high-performance athletes. Reuben has also hosted swimming clinics internationally in Guatemala and Malaysia. Before Triton, he was the assistant coach and strength & conditioning coach at Jasi Swim Club from 2016 to 2022.

Jason Borea
Originally from South Africa, Jason joined Triton during its inception in 2022. His dedication to skill mastery has been instrumental in shaping Triton swimmers into formidable competitors. Jason has a Certificate in NZ Foundation Development Coach and Certificate in SURGE Strength Dryland. He is currently working towards a Certificate in Level 4 Personal Trainer.
Asher Lim
Before coaching, Ash served eight years in the New Zealand Army where he led teams and trained others to perform skillfully in high-pressure environments.
His background in teamwork, communication, and discipline now supports his passion for helping swimmers grow, enjoy training, and thrive in Triton’s positive team culture.
Bree Middleton
Bree is a professional personal trainer who holds a Certificate in level 5 personal training. As a former freestyle specialist who won the 1500m Freestyle event at the national age group champions (2019), Bree understands the dedication and hard work required to excel in both the pool and gym. She currently holds the Canterbury Long Course record for 1500m Freestyle (15yr).
Natalie Sturt
Natalie is a dedicated coach and a former competitive swimmer who has competed at national level. Specialising in Breaststroke, she brings a wealth of personal racing experience and technical knowledge to the team. Her strong understanding of advanced Breaststroke technique allows her to mentor swimmers with precision and clarity, helping them refine their skills and build confidence in the water.
Stacey Morgan
A standout freestyle sprint specialist, she was the 2024 NZ Short Course 50m Freestyle Champion (17–18yr) and achieved silver in the 50m Freestyle and bronze in the 100m Freestyle (17-18yr) at the 2025 NZ Opens. She also holds the Canterbury Short Course record for 50m Freestyle (17yr). Stacey is currently in her second year at the University of Canterbury, pursuing a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary).
Yufei Zhu
Originally from Shanghai, Yufei studied economics at the University of Victoria in Canada before moving to New Zealand, where he completed his Master in Business Information Systems at the University of Canterbury. With experience living in both China and Canada, he brings a valuable international perspective to the team. Fluent in English and Chinese, Yufei plays a key role in supporting our Chinese-speaking families.

Alice has been with Triton since the formation of the club and serves as the dedicated administrator. She manages our day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the club.
